Jinlong 650gsm knife-coated PVC construction tarpaulin is built upon a 1000D×1000D high-tenacity polyester base woven in a 20×20 mesh count, it is our best-selling medium-duty construction tarpaulin. Distinct from hot-laminated tarpaulins with only surface adhesion, our knife-coating process presses PVC paste deep into the gaps of polyester yarns. The PVC layer mechanically locks together with the base fabric, delivering outstanding peel resistance and preventing peeling along folds and welded joints.
This 650gsm grade strikes a practical balance between rigidity and pliability. It holds its shape well when draped over stacked construction materials and remains easy to fold, roll and reposition for regular on-site deployment. The 20×20 tight weave grants reliable tensile strength and good resistance against tearing and minor punctures from rough building materials. The full PVC coating creates a robust waterproof barrier. UV stabilizers are blended into the formula to reduce ageing and brittleness under prolonged outdoor exposure, while maintaining good low-temperature flex performance.
The tarpaulin supports heat welding, sewing, hemming and grommet installation, making it easy for converters to fabricate finished site covers. Typical applications include general stockpile rain covers, temporary site overhead shielding and light-duty construction enclosure.
